I never needed a label to know I was different. I always figured everyone is, in their own way. But there are times when what I'm trying to say and what actually comes out are two completely different things. I know what I mean, but somewhere between the thought and the words it gets lost, and I can see it land wrong. So I push harder to explain myself, put more pressure on, and somehow that just makes it worse.

Somewhere along the line I grew, further than I realised. And with that comes a strange kind of weight. Some nights a conversation from twenty years ago will surface out of nowhere and sit heavy with regret. I've tried going back, apologising to people. Sometimes it was awkward. Sometimes it went nowhere. Once, it gave real closure. But mostly I've learned that you can't live facing backwards.

So I deal with today. Not perfectly, not with some grand plan, but in the best way I know how. And honestly, for all the chaos in the world right now, there are still so many opportunities ahead to be a better version of yourself.

Now the question is, what do you want to do?
