Atari Lynx meets Claude

Atari Lynx meets Claude

So I've been tinkering with something a bit daft lately. I took Todd's Adventures in Slime World, the old 1990 Epyx game for the Atari Lynx, and turned it into a Christmas special: Snow World Xmas Edition.

The slime's gone and it's snowing now, the caves are icy blue with fairy lights strung along the ceilings, and Todd's been kitted out as an elf in bright green with yellow legs (very much a Buddy from Elf tribute). The title screen plays Jingle Bells, the slime pools that hurt you are now frozen over, and the healing water has become a steaming hot spring, so the whole thing runs on "the cold is the enemy".

I even fixed an annoying camera quirk from the original that left the view stuck looking down. I worked through it all with Claude, which is why the opening screen now says "Winners Don't Use Claude", a little joke I couldn't resist. It runs on a flash cart and looks great on my Analogue Pocket, and there's a version number on the opening screen so I can keep track of each new build. It's available to download below.
